About Tri Wolf Studios
Tri Wolf Studios was founded in 2007, after many years of doing business under the name "Fret 'n More". We have been creating woodworking projects for 20 years or more, but mostly for friends and family. After much encouragement from those same friends and family members, the company Fret 'n More was formed. It was not until we had both retired from our full time jobs, that Tri Wolf Studios was formed.
Source of Company Name ...
Several facts combined to create the name Tri Wolf Studios. To start with our last name - Lupori - is Italian and is derived from the Latin word Lupus, or wolf. Add to that the fact that we own three Alaskan Malamutes, the dog breed that most closely resembles a wolf. And, finally, an attempt was made to indicate in our name that our goods are of the very highest quality. The end result of all of these factors - Tri Wolf Studios!
Owners ...
Ray has been working with wood for more than 30 years. Starting with carpentry on our house, and then expanding into a deck building business. After several years with that, he retired to make furniture and expand his fine woodworking skills.
Pat started woodworking some 20 years ago. Moving from needlecraft hobbies, to scrollsawing. In 1997 she became involved in the beginning of the Scrollsaw Association of the World. For almost 10 years she worked on the Board of Directors of SAW, serving a variety of offices, running the Home Office of the organization, and working as the SAW webmaster. This left little time for actual scrolling, so in 2006 Pat retired from SAW in order to have more time to devote to scrolling. Shortly thereafter Tri Wolf Studios was born. |
